Thomas Phillips

Tom is the newest Physiotherapist on the team. He came to Coffs Harbour for the final year of his degree and loved the area and the people so much he couldn’t leave!

Graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2021 with first class honours, Thomas maintains a keen interest in learning and improving his clinical knowledge and skills. Most recently he has taken a keen interest in point of care ultrasound, and its ability to improve clinical decision making and streamline patient care.

Thomas has experience on both sides of the fence when it comes to sports. He has competed in a wide variety from Rugby to Pole vaulting! Now you will often find him providing first aid and side line support for local teams, including the Marlins rugby union club.

Tom excels at athletic development and rehabilitation, post surgical rehabilitation, education and management of osteoporosis, arthritis and sarcopenia, and conditions of the neck and upper limb.

When not on duty Tom unwinds by cruising the mid north coast on his motorcycle, getting muddy on his mountain bike, and playing with his puppy Stella!
