Can Physio’s refer for X-rays?

Home > News & Health Advice

Yes we can! This question is constantly asked in inquiries to our clinic. Physios can refer for neck and back x-rays as well as x-rays of the arms and legs. Not everyone needs an x-ray, but if on assessment it is felt that an x-ray is indicated, we can refer you to a local radiologist, who will send the x-rays back to us with a report.

So if you’ve sprained your ankle, dislocated your shoulder or worried about the state of your back or neck, we can send you for an x-ray if appropriate.
